Trackballs A trackball is a fast and accurate, two axis manual positioning device requiring a minimum amount of operator training skill. It is particularly well suited to tasks that require precise positioning yet at the same time, it is capable of being slewed to quickly to a new position. The trackball assembly contains a plastic ball that is free to rotate in any direction without limiting stops. When the operator moves the ball, pick off devices resolve (X and Y) components. When the ball is at rest, no outputs are produced. Factors to consider in choosing a specific trackball are: size, count per ball revolution, and the output interface.

Trackball Types:
  • Manually Operated / Subpanel
  • Manually Operated / Desktop Control
