Slip Rings Slip ring is an electromechanical device that allows the transmission of power and electrical signals from a stationary to a rotating structure. Also called a rotary electrical joint, collector or electric swivel, a slip ring can be used in any electromechanical system that requires unrestrained, intermittent or continuous rotation while transmitting power and/or data.
  • Large Diameters: up to 10 feet
  • Small Diameters : as low as 0.040 inches with Torque levels under 0.005 inch-ounces
  • High Currents: in Excess of 200 A
  • Signal as Low as 1 micro-volt
  • Operating Frequencies up to 200MHz with cross talk of -60dB
  • Compact: with as many as 1,000 individual circuits
  • Capsule Slip Ring assemblies with case size under 0.25 inch O.D.
Rings Material:
Silver, Silver Alloy, 10 to 24 karat gold. Also brass, bronze, copper and steel are available.
Brushes made of:
Silver, Silver-graphite, graphitic composites for high currents,silver molybdenum disulfide.
